Location and History
Sheraton Miramar juts into the ocean on its own petite peninsula at the far southern edge of Vina del Mar. The Pacific literally laps at the hotel's stone foundation, but the walk into the center of town takes about 15 minutes. Along the way, you'll pass the famous clock of flowers, a gift from the Swiss and similar to the iconic Geneva landmark.
The Miramar, managed by Sheraton since 2006, was originally built in 1937 in the form of a cruise ship facing the ocean, intending guests to feel as if they're on a cruise heading out to sea.
