Location and History
Dating to 1852, the legendary and luxurious Mont Cervin Palace Hotel is situated right in the middle of Zermatt town. It's just a five-minute walk from the train station and a couple blocks from several sibling hotels.
In 1857 a visionary local, Mr. Alexander Seiler, bought the hotel and it has been run by generations of the Seiler family ever since. Over the decades, the hotel has gone through many renovations and expansions, but prides itself most importantly on excellent service.
