Jonathan Clarkson, managing director of loyalty, partnerships and products for Southwest Airlines (left), was interviewed onstage by Travel Weekly editor in chief Arnie Weissmann. Southwest recently began flying to Hawaii, which has had a significant impact on the Hawaii market.

Forum speaker Jack Richards, CEO of Pleasant Holidays, with Cheryl Scellato, Marriott senior account executive for travel industry sales in Hawaii & French Polynesia. Scellato is retiring this year, and to mark the occasion, Shulman, Weissmann and Debbie Anderson, president, Destination Marketing Hawaii and sales representative for Travel Weekly in Hawaii, invited Scellato on stage and presented her with a framed photo with her face on page 1 of Travel Weekly.

Delta Vacations CEO Jennie Ho, presenting a "TW Talks" segment at the Forum. She and Pleasant Holiday's Richards; David Hu, CEO of Classic Vacations; and Ray Snisky, chief commercial officer, vacations, for Apple Leisure Group, used their stage time to tell the audience how a famous quotation affected their lives.

Pacheco, a naturalist and tour operator, spoke at the Forum about the connections between nature and Hawaiian culture, as well as the unique evolution of species on the islands.
