The cruise line launched an ambitious hurricane relief program to provide tens of thousands of meals daily to victims of Hurricane Dorian on Grand Bahama. The first ship, the Empress of the Seas, arrived Sept. 5 and anchored offshore of the still-closed harbor in Freeport. Workers aboard had spent all night cooking and packing 10,000 boxed lunches, which were ferried ashore by tenders and port tugs, along with bottled water and some canned provisions.
