Disney Parks in the U.S. have been busy this year. The Disneyland Resort started the year with a bang with Disney100, a celebration of the Walt Disney Co.'s 100th anniversary.

Special decorations abound, and several new shows, including Wondrous Journeys in Disneyland Park, are on the menu.

Mickey's Toontown reopened in California in March, with a new centerpiece: the El CapiTOON Theater, home to Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway.

Over at Epcot, the International Flower & Garden Festival is in bloom until July 5. Epcot will also be the main host for Disney100 when it comes to Orlando later this year.

It features new topiaries, like the Madrigal family of "Encanto" fame at the park's entrance (previous slide) and returning favorites like the dragon at the Japan pavilion, this year crafted out of succulents.

At the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, Tron Lightcycle / Run, a new roller coaster, opened in April in the Magic Kingdom under a dramatic canopy next to Space Mountain.

Its unique bike-like vehicles whip riders around an indoor and outdoor track.

The coaster, one of the fastest in Disney Parks around the world, is based on the "Tron" films that came out in 1982 and 2010.

Toy Story Land in Disney's Hollywood Studios is now home to Roundup Rodeo BBQ, which opened in late March.

The sit-down restaurant features larger-than-life characters from the Toy Story franchise, as well as barbeque fare meat eaters and plant-based diners alike will enjoy.
