Comprising a durable rip-stock nylon exterior shell that is water-, dirt- and moisture-resistant and a coated fleece interior for comfort, the Mountain Blanket comes equipped with edge snaps that enable it to be used in four ways: as a blanket, a poncho, a sleeping bag and a top quilt. Moreover, the sack it comes in can be used as a pillow. Four snap loops also can be used as stake-out points.

This tough waterproof leather boot would be a welcome addition to the foot locker of any traveler. Built five inches high to cover your ankles, the Bearpaw Lukas' outer skin is made of waterproof leather and has a waterproof membrane bootie construction to keep you high and dry. The boot, which has a rubber toe cap for added durability and seams sealed with extra insulation, features a wool-blend lining and a sheepskin footbed to enhance your comfort. They are available in sizes 8 to 14.

The Terraflex Trail Hiking Shoe, which is available for men and women, features Xero Shoes' patented FeelTrue sole. The virtue inherent in the FeelTrue, which Xero says is literally the foundation of all its shoes and sandals, is that its flexibility allows your feet to bend naturally for balance and agility while ''it lets you safely feel the world.'' In addition, a wide toe box let your toes spread and a non-elevated heel contributes to proper posture. The Terraflex is available in green and black, in sizes 6.5 to 14.

Travelpro keeps improving the Maxlite line of luggage with each iteration, and its latest version includes the 21-inch spinner. Weighing only 5.4 pounds, it is expandable; stain and water repellant; tapered to prevent tipping; and stabilized by a unique bottom tray design that helps keep the four-wheel spinners aligned and rolling smoothly. Warm weather is upon us and what better time for this unique recreational flotation device. Designed for fun in pools, lakes and calm ocean waters, Bumfloats are worn somewhat like floating diapers that leave the wearer's arms free for paddling or for reaching for sunscreen or a beverage. Made of cordura, neoprene and nylon, they can be easily stacked or carried with you on a day's outing. They are available in small, medium and large and in a variety of colors. One caveat: Bumfloats are not meant to be used as life jackets or life-saving devices.
