Nancy Trejos has been a journalist for more than two decades, covering a variety of subjects and traveling the world.
She spent seven years as a travel reporter for USA Today, writing about hotels, airlines, cruises and other aspects of the travel industry. Prior to joining USA Today, Trejos covered various news beats during a 13-year stint at the Washington Post. She also spent a year as a news reporter at the Los Angeles Times, has worked at the Associated Press and was a contributor to Latina magazine, and she served as hospitality editor at Skift.
Trejos is the author of the personal finance memoir "Hot (Broke) Messes: How to Have Your Latte and Drink it Too."
She graduated from Georgetown University with a B.A. in government. She lives in New York.
