Carnival Cruise Line has introduced Fly2Fun, giving guests more flexibility when making air arrangements while booking a cruise.

Guests now are able to choose from Carnival’s Flexible or Restricted Air flight options on Carnival.com. They will be able to select their travel dates, preferred carrier and flight schedule, and get immediate confirmation. They will also be able to view the flight itinerary of traveling companions.

Those who choose the Flexible Air flight option will not incur fees if changes are made 60 days before the schedule flight.

Carnival guests had already been given the option to book flights along with their sailings. But those fares were more restrictive, and guests did not have as much choice in their carriers and flight times.

Many cruise lines offer the option to book airfare along with a sailing, often advertising a discounted rate. Carnival said it will offer “competitive airfares.”

Carnival offers flight protection. If there are flight disruptions, Carnival will make arrangements for guests to meet the ship at the next port of call.

Carnival’s Fly2Fun link is available within My Cruise Manager on Carnival.com. Travel advisors or fully deposited guests will be able to select air options from all major carriers and flights departing from major airports across the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central and South America, and Europe.
