2017 bookings open for Fantasy Cruises: Travel Weekly

Small-ship cruise company Fantasy Cruises has opened its bookings for the 2017 season. Next summer's sailing dates begin in May and continue through September with options for nine- and 14-day all-inclusive cruises.

Fantasy Cruises takes visitors to locations not visited by some of the larger cruise ships. For example, Fantasy Cruises will stop at Tracy Arm-Fords Terror Wilderness area in the Tongass National Forest, which is only accessible during high tide.

Owner Jeff Behrens has picked his selection of captain's choice cruises. They include a trip that departs from Sitka and goes to Juneau with an itinerary highlighting wildlife watching and visits to two small Southeast Alaska communities. More information is available at www.smallalaskaship.com.
