AdventureSmith Explorations has expanded its Alaska program with new small-ship cruises departing in 2019.

Guests will travel on the 102-passenger National Geographic Orion for three new AdventureSmith Across the Bering Sea itineraries. The 13-day Across the Bering Sea: Exploring Russia's Far East & Wrangel Island tour crosses the Bering Strait from Alaska and spotlights destinations of the Russian Arctic. Outings begin and end in Nome.

An alternate 13-day Bering Sea Wilderness: Pribilofs, Katmai, and Kodiak route begins in Nome and ends in Seward, and the 22-day Across the Bering Sea: From Katmai to Kamchatka tour departs from Seward and concludes in Nome. The extended itinerary features Alaska's Aleutian Islands plus Russia's Commander Islands, the Koryak and Chukotka Coasts, the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy and other destinations.

Rates for 13-day tours start at $16,230 per person, double occupancy.
