The $1.4 billion All Net Resort and Arena to be built on the Las Vegas Strip will include three main components: an 860,000-square-foot multipurpose arena with a retractable roof, a 300,000-square-foot pedestrian plaza and a 44-story spa hotel. The property is scheduled to open in early 2017.
All Net Arena is expected to be spherical in shape, just like the barrel cactus found around the Las Vegas area. It will have a retractable roof, which will be utilized when the weather is appropriate. Victory Plaza will be the retail and restaurant pedestrian mall affiliated with the property and is being compared to a Times Square experience by Cunningham Group Architecture, which is designing the property. According to press materials, this space will be an area for casual walking, social interaction, public events and themed celebrations.
The nongaming property will have a 44-story hotel with 500 specialty suites, each of which will have a private spa area for in-room spa and salon services. The hotel will have a high-end restaurant with a private lounge, a wedding chapel, a clothing and jewelry boutique and a full-service spa. A 16-screen Cineplex with a luxury movie theater is also included in the project.
