Alpha Aviation LLC, a helicopter flight operator that offers excursions in Denali National Park and Preserve, will expand its coverage area with the recent purchase of Anchorage Helicopter Tours.
The new company, Alaska Helicopter Tours, powered by Alpha Aviation LLC, will fly year-round out of Anchorage in addition to operating seasonally from Talkeetna and the Knik River Lodge in Palmer. Flightseeing, glacier landing and dog-sledding experiences are on the 2019 schedule, and the company offers an exclusive tour through Denali National Park to the remote Sheldon Mountain House.
Alaska Helicopter Tours also teams up with local partners to operate air-land packages that pair helicopter outings with snowmobile and fat-tire bike adventures.
Based at Merrill Field in Anchorage, Alaska Helicopter Tours operates a fleet of AStar and Robinson R44 helicopters.
