The Riviera hotel-casino is bringing back its $200,000 Superstar Bingo Extravaganza as well as its "La Cage" female impersonator show. The Superstar Bingo Extravaganza is set for March 28 and 29. Twenty games will be played each day, with a minimum payout per game of $3,000 plus a $25,000 superstar coverall bonus jackpot at the end of both days. Check-in and registration begins March 27.
Buy-in for the tournament is $150. The Riviera is offering bingo and room packages for Superstar Bingo players. A bingo and room package is available from $225 per person and includes
a three-night room stay, the buy-in to Superstar Bingo, a $20 dining certificate, a $10 free slot play, a free bingo gift and two daubers. “La Cage,” billed as the original and world’s most famous female impersonator show returned Feb. 29, playing in the Crazy Girls Showroom. The show had been on an extended European tour. Also returning is Jimmy Emerson, who has performed as the comedy lead and alternate host of the show for more than 27 years.
Among the celebrities impersonated in the show are Britney Spears, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Liza Minnelli, Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Reba McEntire and Bette Midler. “La Cage Starring Jimmy Emerson" shows take place nightly except Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Crazy Girls Showroom inside the Riviera.
