The Brightline, Florida's higher-speed rail line, will be transformed into the Polar Express for a 62-minute, holiday-themed family adventure on select dates from Nov. 11 through Jan. 1.

The Polar Express Train Ride, which will begin and end in Fort Lauderdale, will bring to life the 2004 film starring Tom Hanks, which was based on the Chris Van Allsburg book. Brightline partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures as well as with Rail Events Productions to develop the event.

Upon boarding, passengers will be served cookies and hot chocolate by "dancing chefs" and will read along with the book. Caroling and other entertainment are part of the fun, and Santa and his helpers will climb onboard to greet everyone. Each guest will receive a silver sleigh bell as a keepsake.

Pajamas are the recommended attire for the ride, and prices start at $55 per adult and $50 per child, ages 2 to 11. Guests who choose to ride on Nov. 11, 17 or 18 can save $10 with the code EARLYBIRD.
