The Anchorage Museum will resume its Polar Nights Friday After Hours discounts on Sept. 14, adding live music, arts activities, presentations and culinary events to the after-work schedule.
Through next April, visitors receive half-price entrance on Friday evenings between 6 and 9 p.m. Admission for the same evening time period is free on the first Friday of each month, through April 2019.
The facility will also operate on its winter schedule from October 2018 through April 2019. Opening hours are 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and on Saturday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday; and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday throughout the winter.
The museum will be closed on Mondays from October through April, and on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
