The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will once again turn its Boulevard Pool into an ice rink overlooking the Strip beginning Nov. 20.

S'mores over fire pits, snow showers and classic holiday movies will accompany rooftop skating on more than 4,200 square feet of solid ice, the eighth year in a row the Cosmopolitan has hosted a winter wonderland.

For the adults looking to get warm, boozy versions of traditional winter favorites will include Egg Noggy Nog, Campfire Delight, Rebel Without a Claus, Scrooged, White Elephant Game and the Griswold.

The rink will be open daily through Jan. 5. All-day skating access is $25 with discounts for hotel guests and military Mondays through Thursdays. For hours and details, visit the Cosmopolitan.

Upcoming special events at the rink include:

Nov. 17, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Humana Rock 'n' Roll Marathon official after-party: Friends, family and fans can watch the marathon from the prime mid-Strip position with complimentary hot chocolate. When they're done running, race participants can skate or relax rinkside.

Nov. 27, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Benny the Ice-Skating Dog: A Labrador retriever rescued days before euthanization took to the ice after his new owner created skates for him, and he wowed guests at the rink last year. Visitors can again marvel at the dog's skating skills for a good cause: For every skate rental purchased during the event, $2 will be donated to the Animal Foundation, Nevada's largest shelter.

Dec. 4, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., Marquee Mistletoe Ball with DJ Crespo: The inaugural ball will transform the ice rink with a high-energy club set by DJ Crespo. Guests will receive complimentary ice skating with a nonperishable food donation and can take photos with Santa and Rudolph. All donations will benefit Three Square Food Bank, the largest food bank in southern Nevada.

Dec. 18, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., Vice on Ice: Partnering with Tao Group Hospitality Cares, Marquee resident DJ Vice will perform in a benefit for the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth. Guests will be able to enjoy complimentary skating with a donation from NPHY's Holiday Wish List.

Mondays and Tuesdays, Nov. 25 to Dec. 30: Holiday movie classics, including "Home Alone," "Elf," "The Grinch" and "The Polar Express," will be shown at 6:30 p.m. on the resort's 65-foot digital marquee above the Strip.
