In an effort to give a much-needed boost to midweek occupancy rates, Las Vegas resorts have created a number of room deals with exclusive rates and added amenities to encourage travel between weekends.

Caesars Entertainment's midweek specials, which must be booked by Aug. 31, include three nights at Bally's Las Vegas ($75), Flamingo Las Vegas ($87) and Paris Las Vegas ($135) through Dec. 24. The Nobu Hotel Las Vegas offers three nights in a deluxe king room for $375 for stays through Sept. 30.

The Strat Hotel, Casino & Skypad is offering two-night stays (Sundays through Wednesdays) in its newly remodeled Elevate rooms for rates starting at $209. It includes a $100 resort credit at its Top of the World restaurant, free cancellation up to 72 hours before check-in and free valet or self-park. The package is available through Dec. 24; rooms must be booked before Dec. 20.

Treasure Island -- TI Hotel & Casino has deluxe rooms starting at $99 Sundays through Thursdays. Extra enticements include two-for-one draft beers at Gilley's Saloon, discounts for Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. and pool cabana credits.

With a reduced, weighted room inventory of 95,396 that reflects the gradual reopening, midweek occupancy was 36.5% in June, while weekend occupancy was 51.8%, according to the latest statistics available from the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Those rates were 89.7% and 96.4%, respectively, in June 2019, when the room inventory was 149,627.
