Wynn Las Vegas has scheduled a number of Connoisseur by Wynn culinary classes through July.
Guest experts will include Food Network star chef Jet Tila and supermodel/entrepreneur Ashley Graham.
The schedule's highlights:
• Perfect Danish Pastry at Home. Pastry chef Diego Cubas will share his tips and techniques in Wynn's Danish Pastry Kitchen on May 7 at 11 a.m. The class is limited to 12 participants.
• Cooking with Food Network's Jet Tila. Tila will share flavors, techniques and stories behind some of his most
famous dishes, including his drunken noodles, along with favorites from
his "101 Asian Dishes to Cook Before You Die" cookbook. The session will take place on May 15 at noon in the Brahms Ballroom.
• Tastes of Thai Town with Jet Tila. In this class, Tila will take guests on a tour of Thai dining; the experience will
include a visit to Lotus of Siam, where he took Anthony Bourdain during
an episode of the CNN series "Parts Unknown." This takes place on May 16 at noon and is limited to 12 participants.
• Lucci Lambrusco Cocktail Tasting with Ashley Graham. Mixologist Mariena Mercer Boarini and Graham will host a tasting of wine and small bites on May 22 at 2 p.m. in Pisces.
• Cooking, Frank's Way. Theo Schoenegger, executive chef at the Italian restaurant Sinatra, will host a cooking demonstration with a casual lunch on June 19 at noon.
• Mastering Dim Sum. Wynn's master dim sum chef, Sandy Shi, will share her techniques for
creating Chinese dumplings and host a casual dim sum brunch on July 16 at noon at Wing Lei.
The price is $195 for all of the above, with the exception of Tastes of Thai Town, which carries a $295 price tag.
