Citing strong demand for its first-ever seven-river, 45-day river cruise, AmaWaterways today said it would add a second departure in the spring of 2023.
"Our first Seven River Journey -- Summer received such a positive response that I am overjoyed to provide our guests yet another incredible extended journey designed to fully immerse them in European culture and create memories that will last a lifetime," said Kristin Karst, executive vice president and co-founder of AmaWaterways."
The original seven-river sailing will run June 1 to July 17, 2023, from Paris to Giurgiu, Romania, aboard four different AmaWaterways ships.
The second trip, across seven rivers on three ships, will depart April 20, 2023, from Avignon, France, and end June 4, in Giurgiu. Prices start at $24,999 per person.
The spring itinerary will include extra time in the Netherlands and Belgium for tulip season and two weeks on the lower Danube aboard the company's new extra-wide AmaMagna, which offers more spacious cabins and more dining options and public spaces.
