CroisiEurope's upcoming newbuild, the Amalia Rodrigues, will
sail six- and eight-day Douro River cruises when it debuts in spring 2019.
The vessel will be CroisiEurope's sixth on the Portugal
river and a sister ship to the Miguel Torga, which debuted in 2017.
The line revealed itineraries
for the 132-passenger Amalia Rodrigues, which will visit the cities of Lamego,
Vila Real, Guimaraes and Vila Nova de Gaia. The eight-day cruises visit
Salamanca, Spain. Attractions include the gardens of the Casa de Mateus, the
tram museum in Porto, and wine cellars along the way.
Prices start at $1,833 per person and includes all meals and
most drinks and a selection of excursions. Passengers that book a 2019 cruise
by August 31 will save 10% per passenger by using the booking code EARBOOUS.
