National Geographic-Lindblad Expeditions will add a second river ship in Europe in 2027.
The brand, known for its in-depth, expedition-style cruises, will begin offering Europe river cruises next year, chartering the Transcend Connect from Transcend Cruises. Due to strong demand, National Geographic-Lindblad will also charter the Transcend Evolve in 2027.
Adding the Evolve will allow National Geographic-Lindblad to extend its river cruise offerings into the winter for Christmas market itineraries.
The operator will also sail river cruises in Egypt, India and Vietnam in its 2027-2028 season.
