Riviera Travel's board of directors has appointed Matt Luscombe group CEO, effective Jan. 1. He will succeed Phil Hullah, who will aid in the leadership transition and stay involved in the business.

Luscombe most recently served as CEO of Freemans Event Partners. Luscombe also was the CEO of Cycas Hospitality and was the chief commercial officer for Europe and North Africa for InterContinental Hotels Group.
Luscombe said he was eager to help drive "the next phase of Riviera's growth and success." Riviera is growing its product portfolio and expanding its presence in North America.
Hullah said it has been "an incredible privilege to lead Riviera."
"Riviera is in a great position, and I am confident the business will continue to reach new heights under Matt's leadership," he said.
Stuart Milan, president of Riviera's North America division, credited Hullah for the company's expansion in North America, which he said set the company up for "significant future expansion."
