Riviera Travel will introduce the Riviera Rhapsody in April 2028.

The river ship will sail the Dutch Waterways before repositioning that summer to the Rhine. The fourth Radiance-class ship, the Rhapsody will be a sister ship to the Riviera Radiance, Resplendence (coming this July) and Reflection (coming in 2027).

The new vessel will feature a two-story lounge and main restaurant. A majority of cabins will have floor-to-ceiling French balconies in the majority of cabins.

"Riviera Rhapsody represents an exciting expansion of our Radiance class and our continued investment in the North American market," said Stuart Milan, Riviera's president of North America.

"Her name reflects a spirited and expressive sense of travel, capturing the emotional connection and sense of discovery that define Riviera Travel's European river cruise experiences. As demand continues to grow among North American travelers for elevated river cruising, this new ship delivers the modern design, comfort and immersive itineraries they're looking for."

Like the Radiance, the Rhapsody will have three restaurants: the main restaurant, Riverview Bistro and tapas eatery Mosaic.

The ship will have 89 cabins spread across three decks. Grand Suites will measure approximately 344 square feet and have a separate living area, king-size bed and private balcony with outdoor seating.

Superior Suites will be 258 square feet with a sitting area and floor-to-ceiling French balconies. Staterooms will be 172 square feet and feature French balconies.
