Alaska
Airlines has entered into an interline agreement with discount carrier French
Bee.
Under
the agreement, travel advisors can now book unified connecting itineraries on
the two carriers via Amadeus and Sabre. Tickets will soon be available on the
French Bee website as well.
French
Bee flies nonstop from Paris to the Alaska stations of Newark and San
Francisco. The carrier also offers one-stop service to San Francisco from
Tahiti. The interline applies to six Alaska destinations beyond Newark and onto
Paris and seven Alaska destinations beyond San Francisco and onto Paris. For
people flying French Bee to Tahiti, the agreement applies to 16 Alaska
destinations beyond San Francisco.
Along
with single-itinerary booking, the interline provides flyers with checked-bag
transfers between the carriers and re-accommodation in the case of a missed connection.
