Delta expands U.K. service

Delta Air Lines will add more service to the United Kingdom next year as part of its growing joint venture with Virgin Atlantic, the carrier announced Tuesday.

On May 1, Delta will add seasonal service between Heathrow Airport and Salt Lake City, the only nonstop service between London and the United States' Mountain West region, according to Delta.

Later that month, Delta will add daily nonstop service between New York City's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Scotland's Edinburgh.
