Singapore Airlines has become the first Asian carrier to
join the TSA Precheck program.
Singapore operates flights from New York, Houston, San
Francisco and Los Angeles.
Depending upon the airport, Precheck members can wait in
their own security lines, don't have to remove shoes or belts and can leave
laptop computers in their bags during screening.
Membership to the program costs $85 for five years.
