Dollar Rent A Car, in association with
American Express, has launched a loyalty program for travel
agents.
Under the Dollar
Dividends program, member agents earn points each time they book a
Dollar car rental for clients.
Three- to four-day
rentals earn one point, five- and six-day rentals earn two points
and rentals of seven days or more earn five points.
Agents who earn 25
points will receive a branded, personalized American Express reward
card worth $25. The card can be used
wherever American Express is accepted.
In addition to
earning cash on car rentals they are already booking, agents will
love this program because, unlike our competitors, their point
balance and cash rewards will be updated every day, Scarlete
Pelfrey, Dollars director of travel industry sales, said in a
statement.
To enroll in Dollar
Dividends, agents must log onto Dollars Web site, www.travelagent.dollar.com, and click on the Dividends
link.
Once agents have
completed the enrollment process, they will receive a personal
identification number, which can be used to book qualified
Dividends reservations, track earnings and edit their enrollment
profile.
