ATLANTA -- By next spring, Delta Air Lines expects to implement a
new data system to manage corporate airline contracts.
The system, called Corporate Data Solutions, will be provided by
Prism Group, an Albuquerque, NM-based company that provides similar
solutions for Continental, Northwest and United.
With the new system, Delta will require travel agencies to feed
a corporation's air travel data to Prism, which in turn sends a
consolidated report to the airline.
Delta said the tool will help it better track a corporation's
performance relative to the contract, while also protecting the
privacy of customer data.
