Celtic travel specialist Brendan Vacations will add two small group tours to its 2027 portfolio and has also released sample itineraries that can be created through its custom vacations channel.
The new trips were developed as small group travel sees strong growth across the industry; sister brand Trafalgar will debut programs for the travel category next year. The Brendan tours will max out at 18 guests and have guaranteed departure dates.
A 12-day Ireland itinerary includes walking the Giant's Causeway with a local and strolling the 17th century city walls in Derry and Londonderry. The trip's Make Travel Matter experience -- an excursion included on most TTC Tour Brands schedules designed to maximize visitor impact -- is a food walk in Westport.
The company will also add an eight-day tour of Scotland, which travels roundtrip from Edinburgh. The itinerary features visits to the sacred island of Iona, Glencoe and the Isle of Skye, and activities like crafting Harris Tweed handbags.
Brendan is also promoting its custom trips, which can include rail travel and private drivers. A guest focused on Irish wellness can hike the Stairway to Heaven in County Fermanagh, practice yoga and visit a thermal spa. Whiskey aficionados can tailor their journey to the spirit by exploring Scotland's whiskey heritage with a Johnny Walker tour and visiting local distilleries.
