Melissa Krueger has stepped down as CEO of Classic Vacations after almost five years at the helm of the luxury wholesaler.
Sharon Conway, the company's CFO, will serve as interim CEO effective immediately.

Melissa Krueger
Krueger was with Classic for 13 years, taking the top spot in 2022 after longtime CEO David Hu's resignation. She joined Classic in 2013 as a sales director, after spending nearly a decade with Travel Impressions.
Classic said the leadership transition will not change the company's strategic direction or day-to-day operations, and that it will honor its existing agreements, programs and commitments with travel advisors, suppliers and consortia partners.
Krueger's departure comes almost one year after Classic was acquired by India-based travel distribution platform TBO.
Gaurav Bhatnagar, co-founder and joint managing director of TBO, praised Krueger's "leadership, commitment and passion" and called Conway "well positioned to provide continuity while building on the momentum already created."
Conway has been with Classic for 20 years, shaping its strategy and key business decisions while cultivating relationships with the travel trade and supplier partners, the company said. In a statement, Conway said she would focus on "staying connected to the needs of our advisor community and ensuring we continue delivering the experience they have come to expect from Classic."
Krueger's departure follows what TBO said was a strong first year for Classic as part of its portfolio, and that during that time, Classic has expanded and strengthened its sales organization, invested in technology and the advisor experience and broadened its destination portfolio.
