The General Services Administration advised federal civilian travel
managers that they will be asked to start paying transaction fees
to their travel agencies sooner than expected.
The GSA is ushering in fee-based pricing in future contracts but
said travel agencies with existing contracts will want to charge
fees in light of the base air commission cuts to 5%.
