WASHINGTON -- The Bureau of the Public Debt, a Treasury Department
unit that recently announced plans to issue a solicitation for its
travel account, is seeking market information on software for
processing federal government travel authorizations and vouchers.
The bureau has an office based in Parkersburg, W.Va., that
provides various accounting-related services to itself and nearly
two dozen other government agencies, such as travel voucher
processing.
The bureau asked software vendors to submit "technical product
literature," "commercial price lists" if available, references and
policy on licensing for franchise use.
The bureau said it will assess "the viability of this
technology" to meet its needs and might issue a solicitation.
Responses should be mailed by June 7 to Tammie Johnson,
Contracting Officer, Bureau of the Public Debt, 200 Third St., Room
207, Parkersburg, W.Va. 26101.
Questions can be sent to Johnson by e-mailing [email protected].
