SILVER SPRINGS, Md. -- Crystal Inns, a hotel chain based in Utah,
has become part of Choice Hotels's Rodeway Inn & Suites brand.
As a result, the Crystal Inns chain, which encompasses 11
deluxe, limited service hotels, will be rebranded Crystal Inn,
Rodeway Inn & Suites. The hotels are located in Colorado, Utah,
Mississippi, Maryland and Montana. Additionally, two Best Rest Inn
properties in Utah and California will also be rebranded as Best
Rest Inn, Rodeway Inn & Suites.
"We are excited to work with Choice Hotels to continue to build
our business," said Chuck Maggelet, who with his wife Crystal, is
co-manager of MacCall Management, owners of Crystal Inns and Best
Rest Inns. "We think this will be a big 'win-win' for our hotels
and Choice Hotels."
Ron Burgett, Rodeway's vice president of franchise sales and
development said the addition of Crystal Inns and Best Rest Inn
bolsters the growth of the Rodeway brand after a "record-breaking
year for Rodeway Inn development."
