Construction has begun on the Margaritaville Island Reserve Resort Roatan in Honduras. Karisma Hotels & Resorts will manage the all-inclusive resort, which is expected to open in fall 2027.

The 170-room resort on the Honduran island will span nearly nine acres along the shoreline. Among the accommodations will be oceanfront suites and honeymoon swim-up suites.

Signature Margaritaville dining will include Frank & Lola's Italian Trattoria, JWB Steakhouse, The Boathouse Market Dining and Cheeseburger in Paradise. The resort also will feature a LandShark Brewery, offering guests a craft beer experience.

Additional resort amenities will include the St. Somewhere Spa, Fins Up! Fitness Center, Parakeets Kid's Club, multiple pools and pickleball courts. The Sky Wedding venue will "provide couples with a picturesque setting for their dream island wedding," Karisma said.

The Margaritaville Beach Club will be a hub for large-scale events and music festivals. It will have a capacity for 800 guests, a covered stage for concerts, VIP cabanas, a commercial retail area, a splash pad, a main pool and a snack gazebo.

Karisma currently manages two Margaritaville Island Reserve resorts, both in the Mexican Caribbean.
