Marriott's Autograph Collection has debuted in India with the Noormahal Palace Hotel joining the collection.

The 176-room luxury hotel is on the Grand Trunk Road in Karnal, about 75 miles north of New Delhi. The hotel's new name is the Noormahal, Delhi NCR Karnal, Autograph Collection.

The palatial hotel houses an extensive art and artifact collection. It features a mix of Mughal, Rajput, Punjabi and Persian artistry.

Inspired by India's royal courts, the facade features domes, intricate jali work and ornamental arches. "Interiors echo this richness with layered textures, artisanal finishes and expansive spatial design balancing tradition with modernity," Marriott said.

Each guestroom and suite is designed as a private retreat balancing classical Indian aesthetics with modern comforts. Guestrooms incorporate rich textiles and bespoke furnishings. The hotel's signature accommodations are Raja Niwas and Khwabgah, regal penthouses offering expansive living spaces, private terraces, butler service and curated design elements.

The Noormahal has four dining venues. The Frontier Mail is a fine-dining restaurant named for the British-era train that connected Peshawar and Mumbai. The restaurant mimics the interior of a train carriage and serves cuisine from the regions the train traveled through.

Colonel Saab offers all-day dining with modern interpretations of Indian classics. The Polo Bar provides a setting inspired by polo culture. The Cake Factory specializes in handcrafted desserts.

The hotel also offers a spa, a pool, tennis, pickleball, ziplining and rock climbing.

The Noormahal has about 300,000 square feet of event space, including lawns. It is a popular venue for weddings.
