ST. PETERSBURG, Russia -- The Hotel Astoria here will undergo a $12
million renovation, a spokeswoman for the hotel confirmed at the
ITB trade show in Berlin, Germany. The property was acquired by
Rocco Forte last year. The renovation, to be completed by the end
of 1999, will include an overhaul of the hotel's reservations
system.
