The Sunseeker Resort on Florida's southwest coast has joined Hilton's Curio Collection.
The 785-room resort in Charlotte Harbor (north of Fort Myers and south of Sarasota) will now operate as the Sunseeker Resort Florida Gulf Coast, Curio Collection by Hilton.
Blackstone Real Estate closed on its acquisition of the resort on Sept. 4, buying the Sunseeker for $200 million from Allegiant Travel Co. Allegiant put the resort up for sale because of consistent underperformance since it opened in December 2023.
As part of the Curio
Collection, the resort will be part of the Hilton Honors loyalty program
and join Hilton’s distribution network.
The resort spans 22 waterfront acres along Charlotte Harbor, offering two pools, an 18-hole golf course exclusive to hotel guests, a spa and salon, a fitness center, more than a dozen dining venues and 60,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including two waterfront ballrooms and 12 meeting rooms.
