ALG Vacations has launched technology enabling travel advisors to better customize group bookings.
The enhanced technology enables advisors to build a custom event page in minutes, ALG said, and the page can be tailored to a specific group of any size.
Advisors can build the page themselves with the software's new automation, templates and tools. The new technology is available to use for large contracted groups and GroupEase, the company's software for smaller groups.
Travelers can now independently book on the webpage and secure their spot at their convenience. Advisors receive an automated email notification of new bookings, plus access to the groups' bookings in the VAX Groups Dashboard. These bookings will still be counted as a sale closed by the advisor on record and will count toward an advisors' commissions, ALGV Loyalty status and rewards.
Other perks of the new technology are the ability to add the agency's terms and fees, an agency logo, information and messaging. Advisors can display trip information and details on the group's dedicated hub page.
Advisors can add event schedules and external links to wedding registry pages or the travel agency's website. These pages can include a schedule with up to six events for the gathering, complete with event names, dates, times and locations. There's also an ALGV library of images and an option to submit a custom image.
