Travel agents’ July air transactions dipped slightly from
the previous July, the first time in 20 months that there has been a
year-over-year transaction decrease, ARC statistics show.
Transactions totaled 13.05 million, down from 13.07 million
in July 2015. International transactions rose 4%, and domestic transactions
were down 2%.
Meanwhile, total fares amounted to $5.3 billion in July, a
decrease of more than 10%.
