Amex selects two new general managers

NEW YORK -- American Express appointed new general managers of American Express Business Travel North America and Consumer Travel Network, U.S.A., to replace outgoing executives.

The company selected Andy McGraw as senior vice president/general manager for American Express Business Travel North America, effective Jan. 2. McGraw, who is vice president for global travel sales, replaces Pam Arway, who, as previously reported, moves on to become country manager of Australia. 

American Express also named Lynne Biggar senior vice president and general manager of its Consumer Travel Network, U.S.A., effective Jan. 3.

She succeeds Cynthia Valles, who was recently named executive vice president, customer services international for American Express in London.

For the last three years, Biggar was vice president, acquisition and early engagement marketing in the Consumer Card Services Group. She has been responsible for acquiring new card members and increasing loyalty of card members through various benefits programs.

Biggar joined American Express in 1992 as a marketing manager, leading acquisition efforts for several cobranded card products.
