Amtrak Vacations has launched an online booking tool that travel
advisors can use to book customized rail travel for their clients.
Advisors can use the booking engine to search for and book
train routes, hotels, transfers, and tours and activities.
According to Amtrak, the booking engine also enables agents
to check the availability and pricing of sleeping accommodations on trains
instantly, as well as reserve those accommodations.
Agents can also use the services of one of Amtrak's
specialists, who can book reservations and answer questions.
Amtrak will hold a free webinar on the new booking engine on
Wednesday, March 13.
