InteleTravel (No. 26 on Travel Weekly's 2023 Power List) has launched a rewards program for travel advisors, IntelePerks.
The program is free for all InteleTravel advisors. It rewards them for attending training sessions, selling preferred suppliers and joining ASTA and CLIA.
Advisors can use the points they earn on travel options, like stays at all-inclusives, hotel nights, cruises and tours. Or, they can redeem points for consumer goods found in a catalogue of more than 1,000 items.
The Delray Beach, Fla.-based host agency said it has been working on IntelePerks for several years. The technology behind the rewards program was developed in-house.
According to executive vice president and chief marketing officer Tara Minson, in the two weeks since IntelePerks' launch, more than 17,500 advisors have registered and earned more than 35 million points.
"IntelePerks is certainly a new way to reward our travel advisors for their impressive work," InteleTravel president James Ferrara said. "More than that, we've built a complex, integrated platform that offers a series of signposts to increase advisor success. The system stimulates and actuates behaviors that our data proves to result in higher sales and profits, more efficient booking and reporting processes, and more focus on preferred supplier partnerships."
