ASTA has launched a series of members-only online trainings on a variety of topics, including Real ID, charging professional fees and more.
Media & Marketing Training includes a panel of experts that will guide advisors through leveraging their local media and becoming their community's travel expert. ASTA will also hold a live Q&A session on the topic on its members-only Facebook group on Friday, Oct. 21, at 12:30 p.m. ET.
General counsel Peter Lobasso has recorded a training session on Department of Labor issues, ranging from recent federal rulemakings and the recent rulemaking on air ticket refunds.
On Wednesday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m. ET, the Society will host a webinar on Real IDs with the TSA's Simone Davis, director of Real ID.
Next month, on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. ET, ASTA will hold a live discussion about charging professional fees on its members-only Facebook group. The discussion will center on what advisors can charge and how to talk about fees with clients.
All training is available through the video library on ASTA's website. Recordings of live events will be put online after they air.
