Travel insurance comparison website Squaremouth.com has named Rupa Mehta its CEO.
Mehta succeeds Jessica Burns, the daughter of Squaremouth co-founder, Chris Harvey. Burns is retiring for family reasons, Squaremouth said.
Mehta joins Squaremouth with 16 years of leadership experience, most recently with Angi and Groupon, where she led and grew marketplace businesses. She has experience in corporate strategy, partnerships and operations in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
"Rupa's proven experience in marketplace environments make her an exciting and complementary addition to our leadership team," Squaremouth chief information officer and co-founder Matt Outten said. "As we celebrate 20 years in business, we look forward to continued success under her guidance."
