The Travel Coach Network (TCN) has launched a new Certified Travel Coach course designed specifically for travel advisors.

TCN, founded in 2018 by CEO Sahara Rose De Vore, trains and certifies travel coaches, who work with consumers to find their motivation for traveling and set goals for their trips. While some advisors are coaches, not all coaches are advisors, and most don't focus on the trip-booking process.

However, TCN believes advisors can benefit by getting certified as coaches.

"In a rapidly changing industry shaped by self-booking tools and AI, differentiation and personalization are no longer optional, they are essential," TCN said. "Travel is emotional and personal, and coaching allows travel advisors to bring that emotional intelligence into the inspiration, planning and booking phases."

TCN believes it will also help engender long-term loyalty among advisors' clients and foster better connections between the two.

The 10-hour course for advisors is accredited by the International Coach Federation.

De Vore will host a webinar about the course, "From Transactions to Transformation: Webinar for Travel Advisors," at 1 p.m. ET on March 27.
