Travel advisor platform TravelJoy has begun beta testing an AI assistant called Itinerary Copilot.
Itinerary Copilot is built into TravelJoy's itinerary builder. Using natural language input, it generates itineraries, saving advisors hours of manual work spent on data entry, formatting and content enrichment, TravelJoy said.
According to TravelJoy, the AI tool can be used to create entire itineraries or add detailed trip elements.
A prompt for an entire itinerary might look like this: "10-day Italy trip: Rome Sept 15-18, Florence Sept 18-21, Venice Sept 21-24." Itinerary Copilot will give the user a formatted itinerary with day-by-day sections, TravelJoy said.
Adding a detailed element could mean a prompt like this: "Depart from JFK on DL 1514 on Nov 4." In return, an advisor will get a properly formatted flight itinerary item.

Additionally, TravelJoy said, advisors using the tool can batch-create multiple items like a day's activities or a week of dining reservations; generate client-facing copy; include professional imagery; and review and proofread.

TravelJoy includes a customer relationship management (CRM) tool, itinerary building and payment-collection capabilities.
