NEW YORK -- Screen-scraper FareChase hired Trey Urbahn from
Priceline.com and named him FareChase chief executive officer.
Urbahn was chairman of travel services for Priceline.
In previous positions, he was executive director of marketing at
Alamo Rent A Car and director of revenue development at US Airways
Group.
FareChase's president (and one of its founders) Lior Delgo said
Urbahn's experience in online travel will help the company
implement Internet fare-search applications for Sabre and
Worldspan.
The FareChase engine performs simultaneous searches of dozens of
supplier and online agency sites for Web and other low fares.
