Expedia Group's European customers will not have to pay Air
France-KLM's GDS booking surcharge.
Air France-KLM started charging the 11 euro one-way fee at
the beginning of April.
According to Expedia Group, its leisure and corporate
customers in all European markets -- including users of ebookers and Egencia, its
business travel unit -- will not have to pay the surcharge on Air France, KLM
or Hop! flights.
Expedia also said it, Air France-KLM and GDS partners "have
committed to collaborate on the integration of new distribution capabilities,"
referring to IATA's NDC initiative.
