MARKHAM, Ontario -- Global Travel Computer Services completed a
migration to a client-server environment, allowing users of Global
products to access common servers over a network. The switch,
Global said, enables the vendor to provide improved services to its
1,000 agency customers in North America.
The third-party provider's primary product is MatrixPlus, a
point-of-sale and accounting system that Global has spent more than
$20 million and 11 years developing and upgrading. This technology
will empower Global's agency customers to deliver state-of-the-art
technology-based solutions to clients, said Ray Christopher,
president of Global.
