SOUTHLAKE, Texas -- Sabre lowered its financial outlook for the
first quarter, although it is still expecting a profit.
The revision is based on financial and booking information from
January and February and includes a projected 4% to 6%
year-over-year drop in first-quarter revenue.
The previous forecast for the quarter ending March 31 had been
for 2% decline to 2% growth in revenue.
Sabre cited a drop in travel bookings because of security
concerns and possible military action, as well as economic and
political issues in Latin America.
